Another old friend of the Argentine bluesmen, with no less than five tours around the country, this veteran of the West Side of Chicago is accustomed to the most critical audiences (for over a decade he lived in Europe) and come out on top of them with his introspective style and his original compositions.
Asked about the significance of the C in his name, Eddie ever answered, "Truly it was a B, but not change it because it sounded a woman's name"
Born in Duncan, Miss., in 1939, raised in a farming family until six years was taken by his mother to Chicago.
The guitar comes on as a means of achieving women, and it was his mother who bought one and took him first to see Muddy Waters in bars in the ghettos of Chicago. Seeing
Muddy learned the first songs to mid-50, began his career in a band who shared the stage with Luther Allison and Willie James Lyons.
was perfecting his style listening to Magic Sam, fortunately, his neighbor in those days.
His band is requested by many musicians in the area and played for a while to Jimmy Reed, Koko Taylor, before joining the band of stars (Blues All Stars) by Willie Dixon
In 1977 he recorded his first LP, King Of the jungle, disco that opens the doors to Europe, where it sits in the 80'6 and writes extensively for JSP, Black Magic, Double Trouble and wolf.
In 1992 he returned to Chicago to see the birth of their son on their land, and it remains permanently in USA. A couple of years later you get a great recognition in the blues scene with the recording of the album "That's when i know" (Blind Pig, 1994), which takes you to participate in the Chicago Blues Festival the following year, on the main stage.
