The political, social, associational and institutional end details, for more than a year been working jointly with the Secretariat for Human Rights and Equal Opportunities, in community activities that have do with the mobilization and participation. In this framework is that we are calling on all Almirante Brown neighborhood and surrounding areas to participate in the open-air screening of the film "Belgrano" in Delgüi Plaza, located at 9 de Julio Roca, Burzaco City, at 21 am on Saturday 26 February 2011; end of which, and after a vigil, "with Matthew and debate", waiting for the February 27, marched to the Plaza Manuel Belgrano Burzaco to unveil a plaque commemorating the 199 anniversary of creation of the National Flag, as well, paying homage to those neighbors that more than seventy-two years they decided to give us the first monument to a flag.
Indeed, a February 27, 1812, General Manuel Belgrano, on the banks of Villa del Rosario, along the Parana River, in what is now the city of Rosario, created the flag and made them swear allegiance to his soldiers. For this reason, a June 20, 1957, was inaugurated in the same city, which everyone knows as "The Monument to the Flag." However, this was not the first monument to our national, as fourteen years before the July 25, 1943, was opened, which is located in the center of our square Manuel Belgrano Burzaco city.
In full accordance with the national government's cultural policy and its historic vision brilliantly captured during the Bicentennial, we should pay tribute to who was the greatest revolutionary of our independence. The official story, unable to deny it, has tried to downplay his historic role relegated to mere patriotic merit of having created the flag, so to design a football shirt. Undoubtedly, the creation of that emblem, would disrupt the colonialist intentions, English and British, to which several members of the government of Buenos Aires, then, wanted to second. Moreover, the brilliant battles of Tucuman and Salta, as well as the epic "Exodus Jujuy" is portrayed not only as a brilliant military without the profession, but as a revolutionary leader entire peoples entrusted their destiny of freedom.
In line also with the policy developed by the Ministry of Culture of the Municipality of Almirante Brown, is that we pay homage to those neighbors with the same historical perspective and excellent artistic condition, and from the plains, led by sculptor, Claudio León Sempere , gave us such cultural heritage monument, which was paid for, absolutely, by the inhabitants of the whole Party of Almirante Brown.
Who we are part of the National People's field, we believe strongly that to recover the history is the indispensable condition for the collective experience not lost and not frustrate the new generations that they endorse the old utopias of those who fought and gave their lives so many thousands of Argentines over two hundred years of history.
