ROSEMARY CHICKEN MEATBALLS MEAT SAUCE RED
Yesterday I removed the meat from the freezer and I was thinking ... I can do today? First I thought of burgers ... but the idea did not seem very tempting ... Then, I opened the fridge, took a quick look to see if I had all the ingredients ... and bingo! This was what I prepared: MEATBALLS RED MEAT SAUCE Ingredients
:
-1 / 2 kilo of ground beef /
-1 large onion chopped (or 2 small)
pepper -1 / Locote / pimento large (or 2 small)
-3 tomatoes, tomato puree
-ready
-1 beef bouillon cube
-1 egg, grated cheese
: amount needed
-Bread crumbs (or graham crackers) 2 tablespoons
-Condiments: salt, pepper, bay leaf, paprika, oregano,
Prepare meatballs:
Sauté onion and Locote to be transparent, add a little salt and pepper. Book.
put in a bowl: ground beef, half of the cooked vegetables (save the rest for sauce), mix. Add: grated cheese, bread crumbs, paprika, a little oregano, salt, pepper and finally the egg. Mix it all ... if the better hand. .. for all the flavors to blend ...
Once done, make the balls. I personally like girls, and for a snack, I do not like balls like golf balls, but tastes ... nothing is written.
Heat a skillet over high heat (or pan), with a little olive oil to seal the meatballs, THIS is the secret to not disarm the meatballs in the sauce ... you have to seal and then cook in the sauce.
FOR THE SALSA:
Prepare the sauce as they like. I do well: Locote + onion + tomato + broth + water. When we break the meatballs simmer and let cook. Time: depends on the size of marbles, but about 30 minutes, I think enough is enough.
SPECIAL DATA: recent mix in a little corn starch (Cornstarch) about 2 tablespoons or so with a little sauce. Dissolve it well to avoid lumps and add it to the sauce. This gives body to the sauce, so it is not as liquid ... and leave it softer on the palate .. Try it!
can make to accompany cheese or white rice, as I did, with rich mashed potatoes: a simple puree (with butter and milk).
It was delicious!! Franck loved it and gave me 10 points for the plate today! Yay!
From the kitchen of Maria with love ...
