APOCALYPSE NOW, THE FF COPPOLA IN THE CYCLE "the superman of Nietzsche IN FILM." WEDNESDAY, 9, 21 HS

Continued on Screening Room DCEA a series devoted to investigate the echoes of the concept of Friedrich Nietzsche's Superman in the movies . The German philosopher made through treatment of this concept a devastating critique of the moral imperative in the Western world. He also proposed different foundations to restate the antithesis of moral values decadent proclaimed by Christianity and the bourgeoisie. Through the screening of five films will be able to see the echoes of these ideas in contemporary cinema. Respecting the autonomy and diversity of philosophical texts and films, there will be an exercise in interdisciplinary dialogue in order to enrich the understanding of both the films and the work of Nietzsche.

functions are Wednesday of March at 21pm in DCEA Screening Room, 40 Wilde. Admission is free and open .

This Wednesday 9 share the mythical Apocalypse Now, Francis Ford Coppola , the movie-hell people who undertook the challenge after the success of The Godfather.

Those who want to receive introductory texts on the subject, in order to enrich the dialogue, they can apply to decea.chaco @ gmail.com or call at 03722 452 941. They can also follow us on Facebook, the Chaco DCEA user.
