Monday 14 March: The Empty Nest , by Claudia Llosa. Peru, 2009. 103 ', color.
The movie, spoken in English and Quechua, focuses on the fears of women who were raped during the political violence that rocked Peru in the last two decades of the twentieth century. She was awarded the Golden Bear for best film at the Berlin film festival. In 2010 she was nominated for an Oscar (USA) in the category of best foreign language film, losing to The Secret in Your Eyes.
